Abstract:
We design a bounded feedback control steering a controllable linear system to equilibrium in finite time. The procedure amounts to solving a few linear-algebraic problems, including linear matrix inequalities. We solve these problems in an efficient way. The resulting steering time to equilibrium is of the same order of magnitude as the minimal one.
