A SPECIAL WORKSHOP
on
ALGEBRAIC GEOMETRY
OVER GROUPS
will be held on
17-22 June, 2001
in the
Amado Mathematics Building
The workshop will be
devoted to the recent work of Zlil Sela on the theory of algebraic geometry over groups,
with a particular focus on the Tarski problem regarding the elementary equivalence of free
groups. All lectures will take place in the morning with the afternoons being free for
informal discussions.
