Singularities Phenomena in
Elliptic and Parabolic Equations

Technion, Haifa, Israel

March 15-30, 2004


The aim of this workshop is to bring together researchers working on elliptic and parabolic equations and to exchange new results, developments and theory on singularities phenomena in these equations. This activity is part of the RTN network program on "Nonlinear Partial Differential Equations Describing Front Propagation and Other Singular Phenomena". It is intended mainly for post/predocs.
The workshop will include four series of talks mainly in the areas of elliptic and parabolic nonlinear equations given by   
Haïm Brezis (Université de Paris 6)
Marek Fila (Comenius University)
Achilles K. Tertikas (University of Crete)
Laurent Véron (Université de Tours)

Additional lectures will be given by Israeli members of the RTN team, as well as short lectures by other participants.       

Funding: The workshop is open to any interested persons. Candidates for financial support must be young researcher nationals of a European Community member state or an associated state (other  than Israel).
